The company
Canti Vaganti was founded in 2011 by the Dutch artist Kateleine van der Maas and the Italian Bruno Gullo, both based in Madrid.
Canti Vaganti creates joyful and profound shows, using various artistic disciplines, and always treating young audiences with great respect and affection. They see theatre as a place of celebration, growth and encounter. In all their plays they invite the audience to participate in a funny and energetic way.
Pinocchio, a delirious story, directed by David Ottone and José Luis Sixto, is a daring version of the famous classic.
The musical Piccolino in the city was born after the success of Piccolino Filmconcert, with more than two hundred performances.
Both the title of their first production, Always on the road, and their name (Canti Vaganti means Wandering Songs) reflect the spirit of the company.
