Piccolino in the city is a little musical. For many children it is the first of their live.
In this new and exciting adventure, the mythical caterpillar Piccolino, known from the play Piccolino, a film concert (on stage since 2016), travels from the countryside to the city. When he leaves his comfortable apple, our protagonist meets Lola, a bizarre and friendly cockroach who will become his best friend.
The Italian-Dutch company Canti Vaganti delights the audience with live music, projections and object theatre, creating a magical and poetic world. At the big final party, the whole audience ends up dancing and singing.
The musical explores themes such as friendship, the encounter with the different, the discovery of new worlds and the joy of music born from everyday noises.
